well, this is my first romance manga's review and tbh i personally didn't think i'd like this when i first read it because i wasn't a fan of Mikimoto-sensei's previous works and i thought i would not enjoy reading straight romance manga.

I read this without any expectations and now it's one of my favorite . There weren't any serious love triangles or problems aside from Kaede's issue with the band, his ex girlfriend, stalkers and obviously, other companies trying to blackmail him and Hinana's problem with her parents. (pls, thats not a spoiler, i didnt say what will happen, just saying topics.)

this was so sweet! absolutely adored it. I was a little nervous about the male lead at first, but as you get into his character he quickly became one of my favorites. he is good natured, clearly adores the female lead, and is not afraid to do whatever it takes to show it.

kaede & hinana are one of the healthiest, cutest, and endearing couples I’ve read. they get together relatively early on and the bulk of the story is developing their relationship, which was so much fun to read. they avoid typical misunderstandings with great trust and communication— seriously, when kaede’s ex girlfriend ...

Overall a typical but still quite solid shoujo manga. Not overly clichee, but nothing really new either. If you like shoujo, and early romance, give it a try.

Story;
Well, the main plot really isn't that exciting. High school girl meets celebrity and they start dating. What I disliked:
- Nearly all the drama so far was solely revolving around the fact that he's a celebrity and thus they have to keep their relationship a secret. Somehow, they don't have any real problems or insecurities between them, so all drama initiates from outside influences.
